we had no fios service at all. No phone, internet or tv. So we called..and after 1 hour of waiting we finally got through to customer service. So then they tell me it will be 3-4 days til someone can come.
Then my husband's good friend is good friend's with a FIOS guy. So he came over right away and saw that the problem was our neighbor cut our line while they were trimming trees. We told him that no one was available to come to fix it..well that's what Verizon told us..and he said that was ridiculous b/c he had a whole team of guys DOING NOTHING in the area and one could easily come tomorow to fix it. (he is a supervisor). It's so insane. sure enough the guy he sent came over the very next morning. Spent a couple of hours and fixed it.
My hubby's friend's friend was so furious. They just don't call them right away to go out and fix things. Why they tell customers no one is available is beyond him.
