I initially wanted white trim but called later and changed my mind to have a black edging to it.
Through a mix up (that was Costco's fault) a sticker fell off and it was plaqued white (even though I'd asked for the order to be changed). I wrote a letter to Costco corp. about my problem and the photo lab manager called to explain what happened.
He started by offering that if I found the print online... (I cut him off because I was under the impression there were none in stock, but just discovered there are some still in stock-- so I have no idea what he was going to say here)
Then he offered my next poster to be plaqued for free.
I suspect he was going to offer to purchase the print and get it plaqued for me before I cut him off (he alluded to ordering a poster from the Netherlands with Anne Frank that was "limited edition" and being successful at it for a customer).
Now that I've found the poster online, I'm starting to wonder if I should call him back and tell him I found the poster.
My issue is this though-- I have the poster plaqued already. I may end up with 2 posters now, one white, one black. Do I really want or need 2? Do I take him up on this potential offer? Or do I just wait and get something else plaqued instead and live with the white trim?
There's also the possibility that he may tell me to order it and I'll be stuck paying for it and the S&H again (I do think they'll order it for me though so I probably will get this all covered). The cost isn't outrageous $30-40 all in.
So I'm not sure what I want to do.
What would you do, SZ?
I'd go with the freebie next time, unless you hate the white. - Glory - 13-Dec-2012 2:57 AM
Honestly I'm not crazy about the white - StarryDreamer - 13-Dec-2012 3:35 AM
- Well then, have them redo it, and sell the white one! EOM - Glory - 13-Dec-2012 2:43 PM

- I'd take them up on the freebie next time. I don't think I'd want the same art - ladyday - 12-Dec-2012 6:47 PM
