Let me first off state I think violent video games are sickening. I don't get that appeal at all.
That said Wii remotes aren't killing people.
To me that's the missing link. The NRA will not acknowledge that there is a profound difference between someone who has a gun to hunt or owns their own personal gun...and someone who is buying guns that will hunt people.
They should be promoting smart guns, banning certain kinds of guns etc.
Suggesting a police officer in every school is not financially feasible and the NRA knows it.
They look deluded at best, at worst they either won't acknowledge they are supporting a escalation of violent gunplay, or don't care.
