I was just watching HIMYM S7... (speccing based off an S9 in the works)

...and I do not see how they could pull off not introducing the mother until the end of S9. The one thing this show is USUALLY great at is continuity, and it's already been established Ted's daughter is born in late 2014 or early 2015 (going by the Star Wars episode where he's holding her in 2015)- how can he not have even met the mother until mid-2014, when the show would end? Is the last season going to be like a season of 24 or something?

Ugh, I'm so annoyed this show got renewed.
