Just wanted the whole episode preview of NBC's new show Do No Harm and it was riveting.

Here's a quick summary of the basic plot:
Dr. Jason Cole (played by the gorgeous Steven Pasquale) is a meuroseurgeon. He's a good man who wants to save every patient he has no matter what their odds are but...he lives with a dark secret.

He has DID (Multiple Personality Disorder.) Every night at 8:30 sharp, he turns into his alternate, Ian Price, who is a sadistic, violent man. Then, at 8:30 am, Jason returns not remembering anything Ian did or who he may have hurt.

Jason has kept Ian at bay for five years by knocking himself out with drugs (supplied by another colleague) before 8:30 and sleeping until 8:30 the next morning but the drugs have stopped working and Ian is out again.

Jason wants to stop Ian from hurting anyone he csres about, namely:

- Dr. Lena Solis (played by Alana De La Garza) a fellow colleague of Jason who he likes and likes him back. She totally unaware of Ian's existence.

AND

- Olivia (played by Ruda Gedmintas,) who it seems is Jason's ex-love interest maybe wife, who knows all sbout Ian. It seems that Ian is obsessed with Olivia and Jason wants to protect her. It also seems that Jason and Olivia have a young son, Cole, whom Ian unfortuantely found out about at the end of the pilot.

Aside from the sometimes too graphic medical procedures shown, I am intrigued. Pasquale totally pulls off playing two different men. His facial expressions as Jason and as Ian are worlds apart snd you can definitely tell when he changes into Ian.

I'm hoping this show makes it since there a bunch of other shows, which I won't name that become phenomenons and IMO are downright sick.

The writing is top-notch and Phylicia Rashad is even part of the cast as Jason's superior at the hospital where he works.

So, if you are in the mood for a new edgy show to watch, I highly recommend Do No Harm. It premieres on NBC on Thursday at 10PM
