2/$10 so $5 each. When it’s not on sale I think it’s $7 for a half gallon. Plus it is still real ice cream and is delicious. Also had lots of good flavors. By contrast, Breyer’s is much smaller than a half gallon, more expensive and not even legally allowed to call their product ice cream anymore. They have to call it “frozen dessert”.

So, no shrinkflation on Publix brand ice cream.

We all know from painful experience that we are living with high inflation. We’ll agree to leave any discussion about the causes of that inflation for the PB, okay?

But how is it that — under the same inflation pressures — Trader Joe’s can sell a 15 oz box of their version of Cheerios for $2.49 (up from their longtime $1.99) but General Mills Cheerios cost $6.49 for a smaller 8oz box? Why is that?
