She is a good writer. Over the years she made numerous suggestions to Bill Bell that was implemented. Dru being a dancer and IIRC, she suggested the adoption storyline which is how we got Devon.

Gillian Spencer (Daisy from All My Children) did double duty as script writer and actress on the soap. I think VR is more than capable of doing that.
