and I'm glad so many people enjoy them but I find hearing the words a little distracting. Plus I often find myself skipping words, sentences and even paragraphs that I feel aren't integral to the story, and sometimes I have to go back and reread something, especially if a book has, like, a thousand characters ("Wait...is Caroline the ex-wife? Or is she the sister? Oh, she's the former shop owner...OK, got it").
