I was honestly surprised he didn't have a book with him. I keep a copy of Great American Short Stories From Hawthorne to Hemingway in the back seat of my car for those times when nothing on my phone interests me. It came in handy last month when I picked up my aunt from the airport and had to wait in the cellphone lot before her flight arrived.
