ideal... but we were told that is the least busy time. If it had been busier in Honolulu we would have spent half out trip in the car.

I am hoping Oregon is more relaxing lol. I really enjoyed our trip to Montana in October of 2022... we didn't try to cram as much in and I actually got a little rest. Also, while Hawaii is beautiful... it does not compare to Montana. I would have stayed there forever.
