What I don't like about them is that their refrigerators in places like Target and Nugget show a kitty on them, but they never have cat food.

They're anti-Kitteh bigots! Hrmph.

Hmmmph indeed! Boycott! <I kid, I kid!> However, I *have* noticed that when it comes to bougie pet products, stuff for dogs far outnumber stuff for cats. Sure, statistics say that more households own dogs (44%) than cats (30%) but really, almost all the dog owners I know have one dog only whereas almost all the cat owners I know have at least two cats and sometimes three (or more!). So going by those numbers, there's at least as many domesticated* kitties out there as there are dogs, and they deserve nice things like fancy fresh food too! Maybe more since they're usually more picky eaters than dogs.

* I use the term "domesticated" loosely when referring to cats because really, c'mon...who owns who here <g>? Also, I watched a show on Animal Planet this morning featuring cute kitties and one--who I wouldn't really call "cute" (in appearance yes but not in behavior)--was filmed stalking an alligator. The alligator was a juvenile, I think, since it was only twice the size of the full grown cat but dang if that cat didn't come at it eye to eye and then swat the alligator, sending it "running" back to the pond. If that doesn't deserve fancy fresh food, I don't know what does.
