got a confirmed sighting of wood ducks. Also saw a swan!

And squirrels, cardinals, blue jays, other birds, and of course, Canada geese.

It was a winter day though, and the forest preserve a county over definitely felt like November more than late March. I enjoyed it though. I only did about 3/4 of it, so may go back to finish what I didn't get to today. Exactly what I needed though. Too tired to upload to Instagram now (12 km hike!)
