kitty news, today I finally learned the name of this beautiful white/black/brown kitty that roams our complex and runs up to me when she sees me.
Her name is Nola and her mommy is Jill :)
She told me she's usually skittish around strangers, but then she saw her running up to me, as she usually does (except when she's not in the mood, being a cat and all). She also runs up to LW :)
I think she's part Turkish Van, but mom wasn't sure. It was her large size, long hair, and the pattern of coloring on her head, lower back, and tail that led me to believe she's part Turkish Van.
I also call her fluffy pretty angel kitty. I love this cat.
She doesn't respond to her name or "kitty" but I told Jill that she does respond to "Gato" or gatito, which I tried and got a response from her. I know she had a previous owner, so maybe he spoke Spanish at home? I don't know.
