changes mostly just for the sake of change and not for any useful purpose. AOL mail did that to me last year <pauses a moment to let everyone be amused/bemused that I still have AOL mail> Function buttons that were on the bottom are now on the top. The appearances of some of the icons have changed ever so slightly. Perhaps (likely) I'm in the minority but I don't need the aesthetics on my tech devices changed just to "refresh" them or give them a more updated look.

About a year ago, our local library moved their fiction section to where the non-fiction books were and the non-fiction books to where the fiction was. I'm thinking--and this is just a supposition--maybe more patrons of this particular library were checking out the fiction books, which were in the back section of the library, and thus they swapped the fic section with the non-fic section so the majority of their patrons wouldn't have to walk as far? Whatever the reason is, I still read mostly fiction, and I *still* get halfway to the back of the library before remembering the swap and turning right to get to the fiction section.
