…And then it hit me. As of yesterday, I've been officially unemployed for a year. I double-checked my bank account and I'm technically good for probably another 4, maybe even 6 months...but my bank account is also at the lowest point it's been since my early days at the bindery. Time to get serious about getting a job, not to mention less picky...(yeah, I know--you've heard that before <g>).
marks a year since you left a job you hated and that was a good thing. Can I ask what you mean by your bank account being “technically good” for 4-6 more months? Does that mean you have that much time until you’ll start having to dip into your retirement savings/funds? Or does it mean you have that much time until your bank account will be….empty? 😱
Either way, I hope you find something soon that you can enjoy or at least live with.
