Both El Chico and I think this is by far the best season. It feels more like Fargo than other seasons (not Twin Peaks at all, to which I've seen comparisons, but there are a couple of Lynchian stylistic choices). I'm not sure how it'll end, but I don't see it disappointing me.
It doesn't hurt that I've always been fascinated by the Arctic Circle...even if this was filmed in Iceland.
It almost feels like a serious Deadloch more than anything else.
I'm glad I watched the seasons in order of release though. I probably would have never watched S2 or S3, and while not as good as S1 and 4, they were worth watching.
