watched the whole thing. I kept hoping it would get better. But it only got worse. It was boring. The story made no sense. And, while AHS usually has a stellar cast, Delicate did not. Kim Kardashian’s role was way too big. I might have been able to take her in a small ensemble role. But she was one of the leads this season! And it didn’t help that Emma Roberts was the other lead. They were both ungood. But the heart of the problem was the story.
This season was based on a novel. I wonder if the novel was this bad or if AHS’s adaptation changed things too much. I’ll never know because I have zero interest in reading the novel. I’ve watched 8 of the 12 seasons so far and, of the seasons I’ve watched, Delicate was by far the worst season. It probably didn’t help that the season I watched before this one was Coven, which is one of the best seasons.
