Sean Baker is an indie filmmaker. Among his previous films are Tangerine, Red Rocket and The Florida Project. Actress Mikey Madison was terrific as Anora/Ani.
Anora won the Palme d’Or at Cannes this year, has a 97 tomato rating and is considered a front runner for the Best Picture Oscar this year.
