kids, and I want to say something about their relative I would use:

Deda / Granny
Auntie Miss / Auntie Leda

All of whom are NOT related to me.

When I talk to older kids, I apparently also use their pronouns. But it is because I have known these kids their whole life.

But for the new friends, I would use the person's name or if the person referred is related to me, then I'll say "my" so and so.

Instead of Auntie Miss, I would say Miss / Melissa. Or "My friend Melissa."
