And lying to the public isn't really about politics -- it's about, like... being a fool or not being a fool. So I think under the rules of comedy, it's like posting about SNL.
I did not think of this, but that's a good comparison. aaaand yes, lying in general when facts don't necessarily support the garbage that is being said IS more about being or not being stupid.
