I've mentioned here that I'm currently working part-time at Chico's...Chico's love their sparkles. And sequins. And glitter. They'll put any or all of that on anything, AND our "style guide" (what corporate tells stores to pair together for an outfit) seems to think the more sparkle, the better. I find I just can't enthusiastically recommend to our customers that they wear the sparkly top with the (faux)gem-encrusted jeans and top it with a sequined scarf; it's just too much for me and apparently it's a little too much for a lot of customers. Wear the sparky top OR the gem-encrusted jeans OR the sequined scarf but not all three at once. Unless you really want to...
