Did everyone have a good weekend? How is your workweek looking? will it be busy or slow? Any vacation time planned?
I had a good weekend. Swam a lot. Went out with friends for margaritas and fajitas. Watched more of My Brilliant Friend, which I’m loving. I’m newly retired so no workweek or need to take time off. And yet I feel so busy. My next vacation will be Mexico in January.

My sister (right here on the block) is hosting Thanksgiving. I’m her sous chef. All the grocery shopping is done. I’ll likely be peeling and slicing apples after Survivor on Wednesday night.
i offered to make 2 dishes for thanksgiving dinner, but i was told MIL has it all under control! just come and ENJOY yourself!! enjoy? not going to happen. I may take the suggestion offered to me in the last potpourri and take a couple gummies. maybe take one before i leave then bring one with me in case it's as bad as i expect it to be. LOL

Gearing up for any Black Friday sales or events?
Any Black Friday or Cyber Monday shopping I do will be done online. I hope to mostly avoid stepping into brick & mortar stores while doing holiday shopping, except for a few that don’t do delivery/shipping like Trader Joe’s.
i do try to hit the smaller mom and pop stores during the holidays, but honestly, im 90% online shopping.

My Amazon cart is often full. I have a love/hate relationship with Amazon. I understand that Amazon is taking over the world but I can’t imagine shopping without it.

Tree up already? OMG! You’re freaking me out, chloe. 😉 I’d prefer the holidays to start a few months from now. I’m not, in any way, ready for Christmas and now I’m starting to feel a little rushed, verging on panic. Good thing I have a relaxing tropical island beach vacation coming up in January.
