That sounds like a good time at the bar - what nice friends you are to show support. I was VERY worried about you and the sink when I heard. I mean, i know you pre-cook a lot of stuff, but one NEEDS THE SINK. LOL I'm so glad your husband was able to fix it.
OMG I was FLIPPING OUT on Sunday night, lol. Seriously, I washed the same pot three times yesterday. I cannot imagine having to do it out in the yucky garage sink every time.
Yay! We're Jewish, but I love Christmas time! I don't decorate, but I *do* watch as many Hallmark movies as I can.

Today was a "take it easy" day. Most strenuous thing I did was fight traffic to go pick up the fresh turkey 🦃 Did you see the picture I posted of the 69 lb. bird? The pic doesn't even do it justice because there's nothing next to it to show "for size". That sucker was HUGE!!!!
I actually think that is a GREAT idea!! i love framed pictures. it's so personal and honestly, our friends probably have a lot better photos of us than we have - and we've likely never seen them!
Thanks! I was so happy when I thought of it. I just happened to come across a great picture of Linda dancing with the Mummers at the parade a few years ago and thought "I should frame this". So then I went looking for a similarly good pic her husband and found a great one of Jim & Paul building the tiki hut.

Same, but my retail job was at Wegmans so we got slammed the day *before* Thanksgiving instead of the day after.
omg, that is hilarious!!! i mean...i kind of wish my house came pre-decorated because that is HARD! we actually do mostly the bushes and the windows, because i'm not getting up on a ladder to hang clips on my gutters THEN the lights.

we drove by a house that ran out of icicle lights, so they went out to grab a box and...it does not match. they hid it on the side of the house, but......
it's like last year when the new neighbors put icicle lights up on PART of their front porch and they had 3 different colors. Warm white, LED white (the blueish ones) and one set of color. I was losing my mind looking at it every night. LOL
OMG! My OCD would require me to close the curtains on that side of the house. Or to go out and buy them a whole matching set and leave it in their mailbox as a "Secret Santa" gift.
