winter. That’s why I have a trip to Mexico planned for January. I will be there for a couple of weeks that includes the presidential inauguration. I was hoping it would be a celebration but instead it will be a drown-your-sorrows in the turquoise sea and margaritas. I also like getting subscriptions to Off-Broadway theater companies’ seasons to have something upcoming to look forward to. I’m already looking forward to the premiere of Taylor Mac’s new play in June 2025 at a theater where I have a subscription. We are going to all need things to cheer us up in the coming year.
