Walmart to get a small TV for his bedroom. Hard to believe the 30+ year old set finally bit the dust <g>. Anyways, he walked into the store and saw looooooooooooong lines. He was surprised and was about to turn around and walk out when an employee came over and asked him what he was looking for. He told him he was there to get a TV and enquired about the line...turns out it was people waiting to pick up their online orders. Honestly, Dad felt it would've taken less time to just walk in, go get what you wanted, and go check out up front where the lines were non-existent.
I can understand shopping online and having your order shipped right to your door (assuming you don't have issues with porch pirates) but ordering something and going to pick it up seems a little...not all that convenient. All it would've done yesterday at Walmart was save someone a few steps.
