I freakin' LOVE this show! I resisted it for the longest time...it kept popping up on my Netflix recs but I kept ignoring it because I mistakenly thought it was a show about messed up teenagers attending some high school together or something. Well, there IS one messed up teenager <g>...anyways, I love the show's balance of drama and comedy, and the moments of absurdity are right up my alley. I'm shocked that I'm actually not just watching but enjoying a show about superheroes (I normally avoid any superhero movie or movie based on a comic like the plague) and I'm also shocked that I like every single one of the characters. Usually when I watch a show, there's at least one that I dislike or even outright hate, and not in a "love to hate" kind of way. My favorite character often changes depending on the episode; more often, Five is my favorite (he gets the best one-liners), but I also adore Klaus...and Allison...and Luther...and Diego...oh, and Pogo! Ironically, since she's the focus of much of the first season, Vanya is probably my least favorite character (despite Elliot Page being the best actor on the show) but even then, I love her.
