They made less of a fuss when we gave them Gabapentin (yeah) because Marty held them each in a towel while I stuck the liquid in their mouths.

They ran off, but then got tired in time for us to take them over. And at the vet, now that the stuff had kicked in, they were OK, other than a little squabble.

Whimsy got some kind of lesion on the back of her neck that I now think was due to Willis trying to subdue her and playing too rough (ummm...like...she's your biological sister but OK) and I think he bit too hard. She had a scab and some missing fur around it. I later remembered seeing a tuft of hair in the dining area that probably came from that incident.

Long-winded point is - we need to apply some topical steroid treatment to the area 2X a day for 2 weeks. Whimsy is really, really intelligent. I call her a dumb cat, but she isn't. Not in the least.

If I even approach her at night to put this innocuous ointment on, no matter how subtle I try to be, she knows something is up, and runs off. LOLOL. Just cracks me up.

In the morning, she makes less of a fuss. Tonight I'm going to try it when she's sleeping up on the cat tree that she's made her own.

So I hope that works tonight or LW and I will need to tag team!
