I did know who he was because a) generally a fan of his work from way back, and he acted in some of his early movies, as well as in School of Rock, but ALSO...
b) He was on The Amazing Race with his dad long before he played Survivor.
So I knew him from both.
I still haven’t seen any of his movies. I’ll have to catch up to some of them. I did watch and enjoy his other TV show for HBO, Enlightened. It’s White Lotus that put him on my radar though.
You probably know this, but the "new era" style survivor is his 'fault' because it was his idea.

But also, Mike did very well on Survivor and probably could have won... He feels he pulled punches at the end because he started to feel like it would be a problem is David didn't beat Goliath and he let that get into his head.
Now David is in the KY house of representatives and the less said about that the better.
I have no clue what you’re talking about here, LOL! I love Survivor in the moment but after a season is over, I retain very little about past seasons.
Anyway -- I hope you caught the cameo of his tribemates in season two!
I do remember that a couple of his Survivor tribemates made cameo appearances in S2. And I thought that was fun. But I no longer remember which tribemates. LOL. I have the polar opposite of an encyclopedic memory of Survivor.
