It's official. I cleared a spot in the corner and we/my daughter put up the new Christmas tree! We dragged the old Christmas tree out of the shed and stood it in the corner. We may drop it off at St. Vincent de Paul for late Christmas folks.
The first ornaments my daughter put on the tree (and possibly the only ornaments) are the Nekkid Santas, Mr. and Mrs. Claus wearing hats with Mrs. adding a pair of glasses and carrying a wrapped present at her side and Mr. Santa carrying a green sack at his. She also added some garland to the already lit tree and the star on top. We didn't check to figure how to plug in the star, so it will just be on top of the tree. We think we're going to stick to the white light option.
In remodeling news, last night I tried to change the outlet plate on one of the outlets in the room for a Snap outlet so there'd be a nightlight by the door the dogs use. The arm on the side that's supposed to press next to the outlet for an electric connection snapped off. I sent an e-mail to Snap Power. I'd gotten ten of the outlet covers years ago when they were a start up, either through Indiegogo or Kickstarter. The ten were my thank you gift for supporting them. They seem to be doing all right as is Luci lights. I'll see if the electrician can tinker with one of the others ones when he comes to work on the ceiling lights. For now, I have a different type of night light on the wall...way bulky and obvious. Hopefully it won't scare the dogs, but make them more comfortable entering the dark room.
Merry Christmas to all...in advance!
