The poor woman died on the site of the attack (a subway car in Coney Island) burning alive. Yesterday a man was pushed in front of a subway train. He survived in critical condition. Both were random acts of violence done against total strangers. There is no shortage of horrifying unnecessary violence in this world.

Iā€™m struggling to hang on to my ability to still be shocked by what one human being is capable of doing to another human being.
