the last scene was a midair collision of two planes, caused by a distracted air traffic controller who was mourning his daughter who had just died from a drug overdose. That scene was a total surprise to me. I did not see it coming. It made the point dramatically that the human damage from drug addiction ripples out beyond the dead addict. Still, it was a little spooky that I waited all these years to watch BB and watched this particular episode right after the real midair collision in DC.
In general, this show keeps getting better and better. I can’t wait to see what happens next. Very marathonable.
