creamer with 3g of sugar for my coffee, and it was lovely since I also included Stevia.
I bought myself a Starbucks Caramel Latte but with almond milk.
It's fine but again I didn't miss it.
I will do one more sugar add-on thingy today, like maybe mooch a piece of candy from my hubby's Vday stash.
I think I can handle small amounts of added sugar. The issue is when I stuff my face, which I no longer have any desire to do because I know it makes my joints ache.
The way this works, is that on Friday and Sunday I return to regular Whole30 (including Stevia though) and then Sunday I will try grains.
I am headed to AL to hang out with my uncle's widow next Saturday. I hope to have completed most of the reintro phase by then, or early into the trip.
I know now what to eat, and that -- everything in moderation. Especially sugar and I suspect gluten.
I also lost some more weight, in the mid 140s now, a healthy weight since I am 5'7". Lowest weight for me since I think 2012 or so.
But I didn't do this to lose weight as much as reduce inflammation and joint pain, and that's what matters.
I also see that my resting heart rate is lower (low 40s versus high)...normal for this program. I need to test my BP because I assume it will be down now. Hopefully I can wean off my BP meds soon.
