our State Director is retiring. She has been incredibly influential, really really knows how to lead meaningful change in organizations for maximum strategic impact. She is going to be sorely missed! She put our state office on the map. Prior to her stepping in, we were the under-performing kid in the class, so to speak.
The other...cannot go into details yet, but someone I know was let go from a position at another org. Not entirely surprised. She has trouble managing her impulses, and early on in her tenure at this place, during yet another crisis a a certain org (no specifics yet), I witnessed her speaking to a long-standing and highly-respected colleague with absolute disrespect. I was surprised she survived that TBH.
I feel bad for her in some ways, but c'mon...you're in your 60s. Get a lid on it.
