Evidently, more than one type of bug is called daddy longlegs, so I guess you have the bug that weaves the webs. But the ones in my house don’t.

Because of this, I Googled too...looks like we might have "cellar spiders" as opposed to "harvestmen", both of which can be referred to as "daddy long legs". Honestly, while I'm not exactly scared of spiders, I'm not terribly interested in looking closely to see which one we have <g> (I suspect the latter just because I've seen a few sitting on webs).
