like dealing with two children.
My boys were bickering most of the meeting. I think they're annoyed with each other rn (good friends though) and because we're all tight, it all comes out. Those two are like brothers.
Our wonderful intern just sat there giggling.
Boss also pissed me off and I let him know. He apologized.
Either way...I cracked the dang whip and got them to get their crap in order.
1. Where are our letters in the common drive? Get them up there so I can send to our volunteers covering hearings so they know why we took the position we did!
2. Where TF are we on various bill recommendations I sent up three times?
3. You need your letter in by X in order to get into the analysis for this hearing the following week!
4. And what are we doing for our first day of action in the Capitol?
That all got sorted.
I am flippin running these meetings going forward.
And I am going to establish time for bickering, and then we get on with things.
My colleagues are funny people.
