aunt at the local drugstore. Aunt J was getting up there in years...I believe she was just past 80 when the two of them crossed paths. J mentioned to Dad that she was now with Meals on Wheels and Dad told her that it was great that she now had someone bringing her hot meals on a regular basis. Her response was "No, dummy*--I'm
taking meals to old folks!"
* J was like that...no filter, even when she was younger. I didn't mind--I didn't take anything she said personally and occasionally I found what she said kind of funny, even if I was on the receiving end--but many other family members didn't care for her and thought she was mean.
So anyways...yes, good health (or ability) can mean different things to different people.
