Most of my adult life, I've weighed between 205-210 lbs. (this always shocks people because I'm pretty good at camouflaging my fat rolls <g>). I hit a low of 192 back in my late 30s by upping my exercise routine (which is really just walking) and not eating after 7:00 PM, and I hit a high of 217 in early 2021 (pandemic weight). After starting at my last job, I lost 25 of those 217 pounds simply by having a very physical job and working in a building without a/c. Then I quit and the weight crept back up to around 205. Now I'm back down to 194...I'm not exactly *trying* to lose weight (though I can certainly stand to lose a few more...or 40...pounds) but I *am* on my feet my entire shift, walking back and forth, and I don't snack quite as much as I used to. I used to have an afternoon snack, a dessert after dinner and a nighttime snack; now I rarely have an afternoon snack and occasionally skip either the dessert or nighttime snack (or both). I'm thinking as long as I don't lose a lot of weight in a short amount of time, the weight loss is a good thing and possibly related to aging, even though like you, my appetite doesn't show any signs of diminishing.
That's probably way more than anyone wanted to know...<g>.
