Yeah, I can't imagine Judy Bloom being updated. I think they also did an updated version of Baby Sitters' Club...that one is firmly rooted in the 80s and early 1990s. Not a fan of these types of updates at all.

I don't remember much about Lois Duncan books nor which ones I read and which ones I didn't, but I would only read an original version. At least she did the updates herself instead of the publishers, but...I think it was a very halfhearted effort.

I wonder if they updated Boxcar Children for millennials or if they left it...I wasn't a huge fan of that series, but I remember it making a comeback in the early 1990s and a read a couple of them. The Wiki says "revised" and names were apparently changed from the 1924 original, so...hmmm. What else would have been updated? The YA lit scene was so different then than it is now.
