Alex went through so much crap and literal sexual assault (TWICE IMO), only to give it all up because she'd be disabled from her frostbite. Leaving her boy to be raised by a single parent (more likely his elderly aunt and uncle). 1923 definitely screwed the pooch on that.
I wasn't as attached to Jack and Elizabeth, but OMG...he was such a stalwart for the family, and he just dies in a freaking bush?
Oh, yeah, Whitfield and that witch got what was coming to them. Speaking of SLs that did NOT need to go that far.
Well, at least Zane and his wife, and Jacob and Cara were happy at the end. Even if J&C were really too old to be raising yet another nephew.
