Two guys have been working on installing security screens and doors for two days. Finally done. They're the kind of screens you can beat with a baseball bat.
I've got some odd door shapes (a 6' wide set of double doors that I wanted to make sure would be secure but fully accessible, a 48"(?) wide door that used to be a window but was changed into a door during a previous part of the remodel with a side piece that's wooden, but could be replaced with glass, a door that includes a dog door (so it's a door that I'll usually keep propped open), a new screen door for the front door and one between the kitchen and the garage) plus three windows (about five feet in height and two that are a little over three feet wide with a slightly narrower one). Expanded thresholds, the removal of device that closes doors that was on a door not related to the project, and the former screen door with bars that was in front of my metal front door. Worth it, imo.
I had my front light replaced. It hadn't worked in over a decade, so it's a nice change although I may need to adjust the sensitivity and the length of time that it's on.
Great day except for the tripped circuit that I couldn't find that controlled my mini splits with a temperature drop.
