many of the new trees I've seen in stores are so UGLY. And cheap looking! I mean, the needles don't look real at all - some were just flat out huge plastic crap that I can't imagine anyone would want to buy.

Several years ago I sat down with all the pieces of my tree and a little gun thing that found any burned out bulbs and I changed out so many. It took me a freaking week and my hands were killing me because that gun thing was kind of crappy. All the lights being on lasted through one Christmas. *maybe* two. We've barely put up the full tree since then, because at the condo we just didn't have the room for it, especially since we'd be traveling around Christmas and the "tree corner" is where Jack's cyber school was set up during covid. I was so mad that stupid tree didn't stay lit after I put so much work into it!!!

I hate that I can't get a 9 foot tree, I have so many ornaments there's no way I can fit them all on my 7.5 foot one. But my ceilings aren't high enough.

I might put up two trees next year, lol.
