i got hubby a blackstone flat grill for xmas. it's an expensive gift, but it's part for me and part for the house generally, so I did it.
for a split second, i considered having it delivered to my mom's house, so he could have a REAL surprise, but thought better of it. She's old, if it got delivered when it was raining, she'd be tempted to try to drag it into the house, etc.
but I work from home - i'm here waiting for that bad boy to arrive. I even know when regular FedEx is coming and when GROUND is coming. so Wednesday was the delivery date, it was confirmed on Saturday.
and it came today. and i've been so busy at work, i'm not paying attention to deliveries, because i am NOT EXPECTING ONE today.
so of course, the damn thing is sitting IN HIS PARKING SPOT when he gets home.
he comes into the house and says "are you expecting a package today?"
to which I reply, "no, not till tomorrow. Oh no - was something delivered today?!" and he says, "yes, it was in my parking spot."
and I cry, "Oh No!!! was it your big present?!"
and do you know what that dumbass says to me?
"I don't know."
he doesn't KNOW?! he doesn't know what he put on his xmas list?! did he not LOOK AT THE PRICE of the items he put on his effing christmas list?!
like, i'm mad enough and i have to deal with what can only be described as the dumbest question known to man?
did he think we could afford a lexus with a big red bow?
