i have a similar approach to ornaments. there are certain ones that MUST HANG JUST RIGHT and there are ones that MUST be in the front of the tree, one that has to go in front of a light-bulb, all that jazz.
You get it! My co-workers at the bindery did not. A few of them liked to tease me at Christmas time by rearranging the ornaments that were on the tree in the cafeteria. Most of the ornaments were just different colored balls; my co-workers were move them so all the blue ones were in one spot, all the red ones in another, etc. I would sometimes waste 10 minutes of my 30 minute lunch break re-hanging the balls so they alternated colors.
