After we'd finished there, the resident called me to ask for a charger(?) for her phone. I knew what kind of cable she needed, but I wasn't sure if she needed the cable or the charger, so I bought both...except I bought the wrong kind of charger. I got there before visiting hours ended, found out I had the wrong kind, but I'd brought a small charger that I knew would work with the cable with me, just in case. I returned the charger and got a different one today.
My daughter had to help with another Christmas project after the assisted living visit, but late Saturday night, she put up our Christmas tree (the one we'd gotten on closeout/clearance at Lowe's last year), but with minimal decorations. So far, only my daughter's Green Lantern ornament and, of course, my mother's...NEKKID SANTAs (Stuffed Mr. and Mrs. Santa in the nude). Hopefully more will follow.
Sunday, despite it being Sunday, I sorted the cans of paint that had taken up residence in my garage. Turned out to be 16 (make that 17, I found another one by the door this morning) gallon-size cans of various colors, but most/all were the same type. I took pictures of the paint cans and the "formulas" for the paint. I plan to put all that information together in a kind of paint folder on my computer, in case we need to do touch ups. I'll probably only get pint-size cans for touch ups...I have about ten pint-size cans waiting to go to the dump "Transfer Station." It's free to drop them off, so I can make more trips.
Today, my daughter helped me offload the paints at the site, then we went to Walmart for wrapping paper (not my thing) and to return the wrong charger and get the right one. Not sure when I'll swap out the parts.
I didn't load the Elastek roofing materials (found a 5-gallon bucket that was at least half empty) or other odds and ends, non-paint containers that need to go. I asked at the dump if they'd take that stuff. I got a yes, so that will be another trip!
Serious progress. If all goes well, I'll soon be able to move the refrigerator where I want it in the garage!
Wish me luck.
