I keep watching OMitB primarily for Martin Short's character.

He cracks me up every episode.

I love SG and SM... but their characters are just there for me...

I never watched Will Trent until the episode where he turned Angie in... it just happened to be on the tv for some reason and it was so good... I went back and watched the seasons I had missed up to that point. I probably never would have watched based upon anything prior to that one episode that hooked me accidentally.

Then I read the books... which makes it hard to watch the tv show thru the same eyes you do if you have not read the books. The characters are quite different in many ways so I just tell myself it is too different realities.
