stuff but he really calibrated well for CNN and Fallon.
He is so adorable. And I love his fashion sense. He does a good job of walking the line with double entendres and sometimes he just flat-out says stuff. The stretching at the end was hilarious. I loved it when he did it during the show.
The second he said "there's this hockey stretch" I knew it was going to be that one. He also did some cute fan-service stuff that wasn't too much, wtih the glasses and gingerale.
Episode 5 is probably my overall favourite. I hope you enjoy it.
And I read online a poster who questioned if a player really would have been so bold with the approach Ilya did with Shane. Well, there is this thing called gaydar. I think he sensed it and did subtle things like when he touched his hand while handing him the water bottle. Shane's body language was a dead give away. He kept looking down or away and Ilya knew it was because of the sexual attraction/pull they BOTH were feeling.
YEP. It's all there. the touch. The way he tells him "more" when he's drinking. The way he's looking at him. Then he flat out TELLS him that he's the reason for the commercial shoot. He keeps upping the ante and Shane misses it -- but Ilya can see how he's looking at him. He isn't wrong.
Sidenote: in the books this is apparently a theme -- Ilya has a talent for being able to clock when people are into him.
A few years back, a cow-worker came onto me at the conclusion of our holiday party. We were in the bathroom and he just turned to me and said: You know I'm attracted to you right? I was floored. I swear he was pulling my leg. He was like, why would I be saying this if it were a joke? I said because you're tipsy. He said what can I do to prove it to you. I said, kiss me. He did! He invited me over to his place and we um, played checkers. I ended up sleeping over b/c it was so late. In the morning he told me it was a one time thing. It was NOT lol. We never dated. But we remained friends.
That's hilarious. I love it.
