Just because of Scott and Kip's epic kiss. But honestly, why choose. I think I've convinced my BFF to watch it. It'll be so nice to have someone else around who gets it.

I loved everything about it. I watched it twice.

I marvel at anyone who can give a number on how many times they watched a given episode ;)

~So glad Ilya has Svetlana. She is a true ride or die. I like that she knows that "Jane" is a he and that Ilya is in love with him. I am so glad he finally told his brother off and lost his $hit when he called Svetlana a whore. The pressure he must have been feeling all of these years, being the family bank.

"more and more and more" -- the intensity of that line delivery.

~I enjoyed Rose/Shane as well. I thought she handled her inquiry perfectly. She made him feel safe and vulnerable enough to tell her HIS truth. I don't get why he apologized for their night of passion because he was on top of her having sex. Pretty sure he was thrusting. Maybe it only lasted a few minutes and he couldn't get it up for round two? It's so nice that she has dedicated herself to be there for him and keep his confidence.

It's because he knows it's... off. It's hard for him -- he feels like it's a chore. Also, I don't think this is the same encounter. She's in an entirely different outfit. The first is following the club, the second appears to be another night. In general, they're just letting us know that something's off and she's noticed.

I do like that she pops up later in the episode to let us know that they are actually friends.

~Ilya crying, trying to hide it from Shane. Was so well done and then Shane to climb onto his lap and kiss him. They held onto each other for dear life.

That moment KILLS me. He's been so stoic. We've seen him get his heart crushed and nothing. The "sorry" before Shane crawls into his lap gets to me even more than the tears. I think it's unthinkable for him to cry in front of someone, up to that moment. And we see his family -- No one has taken CARE of Ilya like this. probably since his mother died. It's so intense.

~Shane telling Ilya to tell him in Russian everything he's feeling...was perfect. Shane closed his eyes and didn't understand a word but he knew it was what he needed in that moment. I figured he was going to say "I love you." The fact that his brother hates him because he's gay.

Confession -- this was shot in my home town and I couldn't resist. When I went home for the holidays, and I was in that part of town, I went to visit the tunnel. No idea why -- I never do stuff like that -- but that scene was just so powerful. I wanted to see it.

~Scott coming out was awesome. I had a feeling it was about to happen the moment he saw all of the families on the ice. I was like, he's going to call Kip down. Talk about courage. Hope it doesn't torpedo his career. The scenes were so well-done. The texting between Shane and Ilya. What is he doing? OMG! Etc. And then the ending: Ilya saying: I'm coming to the cottage! Shane: Uh... fade to black.

I just LOVE that moment where you see Ilya straighten up -- you see him realize what's probably happening. And then, of course, "I'm coming to the cottage" -- one of the best lines to end an episode on. Shane's gasp. it's awesome. I cheered out loud.

Also, Wolf Parade. I LOVE that song. "I NEED. SUNSHINE."

I remembered something too. There was a sports drama 10 years ago called "Hit the Floor." I was about a fictitious NBA team. Dean Cain played head coach. It ran for three seasons on VH1 and then was canceled but picked up for season four on BET. Sadly, many of the leads had moved on to other projects as well as some of the writers and it was felt. Season four was awful and it was canceled. In season two, they introduced new characters--a hot shot, arrogant player and a sports agent. At first, I thought that the player was bi-curious. He slept with the head cheerleader in the clip below. The agent and the player ended up kissing and then fooling around and eventually became a couple. But they kept it all quiet. Well, eventually the agent got sick of being a dirty little secret and so he broke thing off and started dating someone else. That inspired the player to kiss him in front of the entire stadium. BTW, both actors are straight and were fully aware of the importance of the story. I used to message with the agent on Twitter. Here is the scene:

I must admit, i have never even heard of this. That's cool.
