I remembered something too. There was a sports drama 10 years ago called "Hit the Floor."....
I'm wondering if anyone else remembers a short-lived series about a pro football team called "Playmakers"? They did a closeted gay football player story with one of the recurring characters but it was horribly done, IMO, and ended terribly. (The whole show was bad, really.) It's nice to see HR (and this basketball show that I haven't seen) doing so much better by its characters.
