cold this fall/winter.
I don't know if you saw that the Central Valley of CA was under dense, 24 hour a day heavy fog (Tule Fog) for like 6 weeks. SoCal and the Coast including SF is all warm and sunny (although SF got some of our spillover fog), and we were like 45 with heavy fog, and it was miserably cold. Like, bone-chillingly cold. All the humidity sinks into your body. Everyone was unhappy.
For the first time in my life, the weather affected my joints. I was in so much pain. I was crying to my boys recently about how miserable I had been (I kinda kept it to myself).
They said we were going to get it again, but so far all we've gotten is very dense morning fog that burns off. Now it's beautiful and sunny.
I can live with that.
