my Brooklyn neighborhood is on the southwestern coast of Long Island and the line is just south of us for getting some mix of sleet and freezing rain that might cut down on the snow accumulation. Either way, it looks like we’re getting a lot of snow on Sunday and whatever does accumulate won’t be going anywhere for a while since our highs will be below freezing all week. I am so not a fan of winter. It’s freezing but dry today so I’m getting a swim in late this afternoon followed by margaritas and fajitas at my favorite Mexican restaurant. After today I’ll probably be hunkering in for days catching up on movies.
